"

Ekaterina Vasilenko, student of the BYuP group 17-04 says on behalf of the creative team:

- When we saw the information letter about the competition, we drew attention to the nomination «Outstanding Forensic Scientists». They immediately decided that it would be interesting to make a film about Alfonso Bertillon. I wanted to show how an ordinary clerk, despite skepticism from his superiors and colleagues, thanks to his perseverance and work, developed a system for identifying criminals, called bertilonazh. Having decided on the topic, they began to work on the film. After couples gathered in the library. Ksenia Khitrova, Anna Kan, Valeria Ostroukhova, Anastasia Bevzyuk, Alexander Gladkikh, Alina Bykova and I - worked on the plot and wrote the script. Ruslan Muratov perfectly suited the role of the main character, Danil Shepelenko - the role of a teacher, he was also a newscaster who told the story of A. Bertillon. Igor Khokhlyuk did an excellent job with the role of the chief A. Bertillon. The most difficult thing was to think over the script, painting each scene, pick up the guys for roles, collect the props that we brought from home. They shot the phone on the camera, edited the video by Ruslan Muratov. The filming itself took us about a week. Our task was not just to make a biographical film, but to make it modern so that peers were interested in watching it. We spent a lot of time together, the creative process rallied our group, showed talents and allowed some guys to reveal themselves from a new perspective.

Alla Vereshchagina, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines tells:

- Students of the Institute of Law participated in the «Golden Trail» contest for the third time, but only this year we managed to get 1 place for the presented film. I would like to note that the students were completely independent - both in the choice of nomination and in the preparation of films, starting from work on the plot and ending with the editing of the footage. My role came down to initiating work and consultations if students had any questions.

Films presented by the guys for the contest are diverse, each of them has its own advantages. The preparation of films for the competition is the merit of all students who participated in the filming. I would like to mention the guys who started working first and were able to rally classmates around themselves, to believe that there is no impossible. This is Valentin Boykov, according to the script of which the film «The Incident», ironic with original musical accompaniment, was shot. Nikita Yakovenko, who proposed a very interesting and difficult to implement idea of the film, dedicated to interrogation tactics. Ksenia Khitrova is the «soul of the film», so she appreciated her role in the work on the winning film of classmates. Ksenia acted not only in the role of one of the co-authors of the script together with Ekaterina Vasilenko, Anna Kan, but also in the role of cameraman and actor, Alla Vereshchagina said.

It is worth noting that the jury of the «Golden Trail» included well-known scientists and practitioners in the field of criminal law, process and forensic science. The jury was headed by Doctor of Law, Professor Sergey Davydov.
