The young scientist made a presentation on the topic "Presentation of the problem of a research project in the field of family entrepreneurship and regional development of Russia", dedicated to her dissertation research.

The issue of studying family entrepreneurship in Russia is quite new, and was received with interest by the world scientific community. Valentina Bychkova, under the guidance of Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexander Latkin, explores the issues of family business management at the regional level. It is expected that paying attention to the essence of family business and its impact on the region can complement the existing mechanisms for creating a stable basis and developing entrepreneurial activity in the Primorsky Territory and the Far East as a whole.

Valentina Bychkova is the chairman of the committee of the Union "Primorskaya Chamber of Commerce and Industry" for the support and development of family entrepreneurship, in her speech she noted the uniqueness of family businesses and highlighted the range of problems associated with the development of family entrepreneurship:

- Family businesses have a special set of resources as a result of family involvement in work - “family affiliation”. Such a resource must be understood, properly used and protected. The main threat to family entrepreneurship is not realizing its potential.

The 6th International Research Forum on Mittelstand is one of the largest events in its field, bringing together researchers and family business practitioners. Representatives of Germany, Russia, Italy, Denmark, Poland, Slovakia, UAE, India, Indonesia and other countries - more than 250 participants took part in the work of the last conference. The expert council selected 50 works for presentation at the conference. The participants discussed issues related to the research of family entrepreneurship, its response to modern challenges and the search for new development opportunities. The conference was organized by the University of Mannheim, Germany. The conference was held in a remote format - on the ZOOM platform.
