Total New Year: Santa Claus in Dolce & Gabbana and Snow Maiden in Prada from VSUES design students

The creative costumes of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden were developed by students of the Design direction: Daria Koropova, Kirill Shestopalov, Maria Sudakova, Naryya Kuo Kirillina, Veronika Kuznetsova, Elizaveta Polyakova and Ksenia Cheremisina within the framework of the Project Activity discipline.

The customer of the project was the sports complex "Champion" VSUES.

“We decided that if our coaches change into Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens for the whole New Year's week, it will create a New Year mood for our clients and a festive atmosphere in the sports complex,” said Yulia Ryzhenkova-Plyaskina, manager of the Champion sports complex at VSUES. - The students did an excellent job: the costumes turned out to be at the highest level.

The students themselves note that the choice of the project was predetermined by the upcoming holiday:

- This project is interesting for us, since our direction of training is "Design". But the New Year is coming soon and this particular theme is charging us with New Year's mood. We distributed the functionality at the request of the participants: whoever is the best at what does what, - said Daria Koropova.

The students paid special attention to the choice of fabrics: they were ordered from Moscow, for Santa Claus they chose the fabric from the Dolce & Gabbana collection, and for the Snow Maiden - Prada.

“We were inspired by numerous children's Christmas trees not only in the Far East, but also in central Russia, as well as photo sessions in themed images of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden,” said Daria Koropova.
