Vladivostok International Airport Day was held at VSUES

Vladivostok International Airport named after V.K. Arseniev is a partner of VSUES. At the invitation of the regional center "Start-Career", a representative of the company, HR Director Anna Maksimenko, came to the university. The airport is not only about flights, but also about working with people, providing security and service, so the employer is interested in cooperation with our university and attracting students and young specialists to work.

Due to its geographical position - at the intersection of air routes between the Russian Far East and the Asia-Pacific countries - Vladivostok International Airport is of strategic importance in the region''s air transport system. Today, more than 1000 people are employed at the airport complex, who work in different departments: the transport aviation security service, the ground handling service for aircraft, the special transport service, the procurement department and many others.

VSUES has been actively cooperating with the airport for several years – student receive training and then stay to work at the airport, go on excursions and implement joint projects. Irina Slesarchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Technology of VSUES, who oversees the practice of students, said:

- Undergraduate students "Service in Aviation" and "Service in Transport" annually receive training in two airport services - in the air transportation service and the aviation security service. Undergraduate students 2-3 courses receive practical skills during the vacation period, the graduation course - during the academic year.

Anna Maksimenko, HR Director of Vladivostok International Airport, said that the airport complex has various divisions and services, the company has many areas of activity, so everyone can find a suitable direction for development:

- You can write course work and diplomas on topics that are interesting to you and important for the airport, get knowledge from leading experts, establish yourself as a successful and promising intern and then find a job in our organization.
