From virtual tours of the Eiffel Tower to immersive games: the VSUES digital solutions laboratory invites you to visit the French VR cinema club

The French cultural and language center "Alliance Francaise-Vladivostok" together with the virtual reality laboratory of VSUES and with the support of the Bank "Primorye" invite everyone to plunge into the world of virtual reality in the framework of the French VR-cinema club.

At the same time, the best documentaries, feature films and fiction films created in France over the past few years will be shown in 3 virtual reality helmets. From virtual tours of the Eiffel Tower and Opéra Garnier in Paris to immersive games.

The French VR Cinema Club is of particular interest to art lovers: they will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in 360º inside the legendary paintings of Claude Monet, Edouard Manet and Leonardo da Vinci.

Head of the Digital Solutions Laboratory Alexander Arshinov:

- The history of cinematography began on December 28, 1895, when the first screening of the film took place on the Boulevard des Capucines in one of the halls of the Grand Café. Over its more than a century history, French cinema has created countless masterpieces, so the main goal of our meetings is to immerse the viewer in the world of French directors with the help of modern technologies - from the cult Godard to the equally famous Jean Renoir. The meetings will take place every Saturday. The first meeting will take place on June 19, we expect about forty guests.
