A modern museum and exhibition complex opens at VVSU

VVSU is a multifaceted university. The university constantly confirms this status with the help of various projects implemented at its premises. Among them is the new Museum and Exhibition Complex (MEC), which was solemnly opened on the site of Vladivostok State University on October 6.

MEC VVSU is a modern, and, most importantly, open for new names and ideas, creative space, which continues the practice of exhibition, museum and project activities at the university. Rector Tatiana Terenteva congratulated everyone on the opening of a new point of attraction for people who are passionate about art:

– We have an idea to increase the presence of the museum at the university. There will be several more exhibition outlets at VVSU, and we will be adding garden art and sculpture as well. In the area of exhibition activities we will have many more discoveries, – said Nadezhda Suhareva, Director of Museum and Exhibition Complex of VVSU.

Galina Dobrynina and Oleg Petukhov, professors of the University, were given the right to be the first ones to exhibit their works in the renovated exhibition halls. Their art exhibition «In dialogue» (paintings, graphics, ceramics, art objects) consists of more than 30 works dedicated to Primorye and its inhabitants.
