Prospects for cooperation and existing partnership projects between the University and Uzbekistan were discussed during the business meeting between the Rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Tatiana Terenteva and the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok Rustam Ismailov. A special place in the dialogue was occupied by pressing issues – how students study, how they live, and what concerns Uzbek students studying at our university.

Tatiana Terenteva noted that cooperation between VVSU and Uzbekistan is constantly developing. The interaction began back in 2015, when the first agreements were signed with schools in Uzbekistan. In 2019, the first graduates of VVSU diploma specialists – citizens of Uzbekistan – took place.

The Consul General emphasized that VVSU has a well-deserved reputation of a good university that provides quality education. Uzbek students are provided with all conditions for study and recreation, as well as the opportunity to learn the Russian language, join the national traditions and discover their cultural code in the comfortable, friendly atmosphere of the university.

Tatyana Terenteva and Rustam Ismailov agreed to expand the participation of VVSU in educational exhibitions in Uzbekistan, so that even more young Uzbeks could discover Vladivostok and Vladivostok State University, which is now one of the three best universities in the Far East.
