VVSU Days in the Republic of Uzbekistan

A delegation from VVSU, headed by Rector Tatiana Terenteva, is visiting the Republic of Uzbekistan.

VVSU representatives visited three cities and held meetings aimed at developing cooperation between the university and educational institutions in Uzbekistan, as well as at increasing the effectiveness of guidance counseling with university prospective students.

Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (SamISI) held a meeting with the institute's management to discuss joint educational programs to be implemented in a network and two-degree format. It was primarily about master's programs, but there are also plans to create programs at bachelor's level in the future.

The VVSU delegation also visited the Academic Lyceum at SamISI. At the meeting with the youth of the Republic, the VVSU representatives showed a film about the University and held a Calligraphy and Visualization Competition dedicated to the Day of Slavic Script and Culture, which is annually celebrated in Russia on May 24.

VVSU professors talked to the students about the history of the Cyrillic alphabet, Russian poetry and the rules of creative thinking. Individual and teamwork aroused the students' genuine interest, and the jury was awarded with amazing calligraphic works and drawings-images that conveyed the children's emotions.
