VVSU continues to expand ties and cooperation with the People's Republic of China

VVSU received a delegation of high school students led by a teacher from Inner Mongolia to get acquainted with our university.

An extensive tour of the campus as well as of the university was given to 13 school graduates studying Russian, with an immersion in the traditional Russian culture, for which the students have a keen interest.

The staff of the School of Pedagogy and Linguistics and the International and Cultural Affairs Department jointly organized a workshop on painting wooden spoons in the Khokhloma style.

After that, the guests from the PRC watched a film about the university, studies and life of international students there. A Chinese VVSU student, who shared her personal experience of studying at the university, complemented the students’ story from the video. The meeting ended with a classic Russian tea party.
