VVSU broadens cooperation with China

September 13, 2023 the International and Cultural Affairs Department of VVSU has held a meeting with Guangzhou Xinhua University (People’s Republic of China) within International forum “Russia-China: Friendship of NEXT Generation”.

The Guangzhou Xinhua University delegation was represented by Vice-Rector of international Relations Ma Longhai; Deputy Director of International Affairs Department Wang Juntao; Secretary of the Board Liu Dunyao; manager of the Department of Russian projects, the Ag. Director of OOO “Hebei Kongshu Cultural Development” Wang Wei.

On behalf of Vladivostok State University, First Vice-Rector Sergei Golikov, Director of the International and Cultural Affairs Department Petr Siomin, Head of the International Academic Mobility Office Olga Bogova, International Exchange Program Coordinator Olga Severyanova, Director of the Department of Marketing and Information Policy Aleksander Doldo attended the meeting.

The participants of the meeting discussed the ways of future cooperation, educational opportunities for professors and students of both countries, double diploma program, VVSU postgraduate educational programs for the partner university students, education within international mobility programs, organization of joint sport events and many others.

The Chinese delegation showed strong interest in preparation of Agreement of Cooperation. The meeting ended with gifts exchange.
