VVSU at the international educational exhibition China Education Expo in Beijin

The staff of the International and Cultural Affairs Departments of Vladivostok State University took part in the largest international educational exhibition China Education Expo (CEE), which was held in Beijing October 27-28, 2023. The Expo was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of China and represented more than 30 countries. There were many pavilions on the huge site; representatives of educational institutions had the opportunity to communicate and exchange experiences.

The Russian exposition brought together 27 leading universities and 12 Russian-Chinese industry associations in its pavilion. President of the Chinese Association for International Educational Exchanges under the Ministry of Education of the People''''s Republic of China Liu Limin visited the Russian pavilion.

The purpose of VVSU’s participation in the international exhibition is to promote the university outside Russia and develop international cooperation in the field of education. The VVSU delegation presented its educational programs and also held negotiations with representatives of Chinese universities and agencies. In addition to participating in the exhibition, university staff visited educational institutions in China and learned about their teaching methods.

The VVSU delegation visited the Guangzhou Professional Construction School and had the meeting with the school management, students and their parents. The VVSU presentation aroused great interest and response. Now 7 graduate students of this school are preparing for the state final exam in the Russian language. It is possible that these graduates will subsequently become applicants and students of VVSU.

Participation in the China Education Expo allowed VVSU to expand international cooperation, strengthen its position in the educational environment and gain new opportunities for development.
