VVSU Institute of Law Took Part in a Conference Dedicated To the Legal Aspects of Russian-Chinese Cooperation

The international scientific and practical conference “Russian-Chinese economic cooperation: practical aspects of legal regulation” was held in Vladivostok.

The participants of the conference were Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the All-Russian public organization "Association of Lawyers of Russia"; Dmitry Mariza, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Primorsky krai; Yuri Melnikov, Chairman of the Council of the Primorsky regional branch of the "Association of Lawyers of Russia"; Piao Yanfan, Consul General of the People''''s Republic of China in Vladivostok; Wang Xiaobo, Head of the Legal Services Center for Cooperation with Russia at the Mudanjiang Municipal Justice Bureau.

VVSU Institute of Law of was represented at the conference by Igor Barannik, associate professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, member of the board of the regional branch of Association of Lawyers of Russia, and students Vladislava Mamed-Zade, Alina Bondar, Sofia Utkina, Olesya Fedotova, Marine Melikyan, Anastasia Kozhevnikova.

The forum participants discussed the legal aspects of Russian-Chinese cooperation, issues of legal support for investment business projects and prospects for interaction in this area.

According to Igor Barannik, taking into account the scientific and practical significance of the forum materials, a decision was made to publish a collection of reports by conference participants.
