Students from the Institute of Pedagogy and Linguistics Took Part in the “Starry Autumn” Festival
The annual festival of amateur creative activity “Starry Autumn of VVSU” ended on November 23 with an enchanting gala concert of the best performers. The purpose of the festival is to create a favorable environment for identifying and self-realization of talented students, and to develop their creative abilities. Each student can apply and present any artistic performance.
Students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Linguistics have always been the most active in this festival. This year was no exception. The combined team of the Institute students and the students of the Institute of Training of Foreign Citizens prepared and read an excerpt from “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by Alexander Pushkin. The group took 2nd place in the Small Theater Forms competition.
3rd place in the Small Theater Forms nomination was taken by students from Mongolia Khuralai Altangerel and Akherke Amankhan, who presented Vadim Levin''s poem "Courteous Conversation".
The new nomination “White Crane Festival”, established in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Rasul Gamzatov, has brought together many admirers of this poet’s work. The 3rd place was taken by the 4th year student of the bachelor''s program "Linguistics" Bo Qianlong with the poem "In life, everything happens the other way around."
In the literary competition, 3rd place with an excerpt from the poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila” by Alexandra Pushkin was taken by 4th year bachelor student He Ige. Reading Alexander Pushkin’s poem “At Lukomorye”, she captivated the competition jury with her emotionality and play. Also in the literary competition, 3rd place was taken by Liu Jiaqi with Vladimir Mayakovsky’s poem “If the stars light up...”.
For the first time, Russian students in a large team represented the Institute of Pedagogy and Linguistics in the dance category. The students learned a complex Korean dance with fans. They took 3rd place.
