Bright Victories and New Records of VVSU in Sports

The main victories of VVSU athletes over the past academic year:

VVSU freshman Daniil Furmanov won gold and bronze at the Baltic Sea Cup martial arts festival in St. Petersburg. The student is a prize winner and champion of Primorsky Krai and the Far East in taekwondo, and plays in the VVSU basketball team.

The VVSU women''s team is the champion of the Far Eastern Federal District Winter Cup.

The VVSU cheerleading team "HELL WOLVES" won the Primorsky Krai Cheerleading Championship and Championship. The team earned two golds and a silver.

The VVSU women''s basketball team became the winner of the Youth Capital Basketball Cup among student and youth women''s teams. The girls are playing together for the first season and in such a short time have already demonstrated their character and skill.

VVSU student Alexey Zudikhin became the winner of the All-Russian Judo Competition "For the Prizes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" among juniors and juniors under 23 years old.  He also became the winner of the Far Eastern Federal District Judo Championship.

VVSU student Elizaveta Timokhina won the 7th season of the "I am a Professional" Olympiad in the direction of "Sports and Physical Education. Sports Trainer".

During the first international youth student summer games "Youth of Primorye", VVSU students brought one gold, four silver and three bronze medals to the university''s collection in swimming, 3x3 basketball, table tennis, boxing and badminton.

Experienced coaching and teaching staff and modern sports halls and exercise machines of the "Champion" sports center help VVSU students set new records, win regional, all-Russian and international competitions, receive and confirm the titles of candidates and masters of sports.
