VVSU Students and Faculty Took Part in the International Youth Urban Forum "Urban Way"
Representatives of VVSU took part in a meeting of urban planning specialists, sociologists and urbanists.
The event was held on the campus of FEFU in the Blue Hall. The participants discussed the problems of modern cities, the living conditions, ways to improve life in cities and create a comfortable environment.
Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Technology of VVSU Tatiana Voznesenskaia told about the university campus and its modernization.
"In the design of the buildings we use the projects of our students, who can implement their ideas in practice at their native university," noted Tatiana Voznesenskaia.
During the event, VVSU the participants presented their projects to the audience: interior designs for public areas of the VVSU campus.
The event also featured the head and founder of the legendary St. Petersburg architectural bureau Studio 44, Nikita Iavein, famous for his bright projects. He demonstrated a huge museum complex dedicated to the Siege of Leningrad in the Great Patriotic War, poignant and impressive, filled with images and symbols. Every detail is about people, their stories in the stone city, about courage, about life.
“The forum was held at the highest level! It was very interesting to hear the opinions and ideas of leading architects. Their plans and implementations inspired and gave new perspectives for reflection. The opportunity to hear the thoughts of important people was truly useful. Each speaker brought something unique, we left the forum full of new ideas and motivation,” shared one of the participants of the event, a student of the Architecture program, Iulia Tereshchenko.
The teachers and students of VVSU agreed that this event allowed them to learn abouy the experience of other participants and share their own in order to further improve their professional activities.
