An Activist of the VVSU Student Scientific Society Visited the International School of Student Scientific Societies in Moscow
A student of Vladivostok State University, Maximilian Podakin, successfully passed the competitive selection and took part in the III International School of Student Scientific Societies in Moscow.
The school was organized by the Student Scientific Society of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and the All-Russian Student Club "Vernadsky". The participants of the School were the leaders, activists and curators of Student Scientific Societies of universities in the regions of Russia and foreign countries. The trip was made possible thanks to the support of the university.
The School offered lectures, seminars, trainings and project sessions for representatives of Student Scientific Societies of universities in Russia and foreign countries. The program was rich. The participants learned about the use of AI technologies in science and education, the history of the Student Scientific Society, strategic management and planning. Also the participants took part in a training on the development of managerial competencies and much more.
The events were held with the aim of supporting the development of student scientific societies in the new academic year.
“The school was a great success! I got a huge number of contacts and experience. My understanding of what Student Scientific Society is, how it is used and how others see it has changed a lot,” said Maximilian Podakin.
As Daria Zakharova, the mentor of the VVSU Student Scientific Society, noted, the university Student Scientific Society actively participates in large-scale scientific events. One of them was the “Scientific Holidays” festival, where activists organized popular science platforms for schoolchildren. The students told children about the achievements of Russian science, played with children in various thematic activities and interested them in new knowledge in an interactive game.
