Vladivostok State University Students Presented Their Projects on the "Project Activity" Discipline
This event provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents, skills and creative approach that they developed during the academic year. Students prepared presentations, interacted with the commission and answered questions, demonstrating their achievements.
One of the brightest projects was a game application about the ethnography of Primorsky Krai, developed by students of the Department of Information Technologies and Systems. This project attracted particular interest due to its unique approach to studying the cultural characteristics of the region. Students introduced game elements, making the study process exciting and interesting.
"We are creating a game based on the legends and myths of the peoples of the Far East. This topic seemed very relevant and interesting to us for the game format. Our goal is to make a really cool game that will attract many players! "The committee gave us useful advice on how to increase profitability and improve our chances of success," said one of the project authors, Aleksey Nochvin, after the presentation.
Among other works presented, the project by students from the Department of Mathematics and Modeling stood out. They developed a promotion for their department on social networks. This project showed how important it is to use modern media platforms to popularize scientific activities. The students developed a content marketing strategy aimed at attracting attention to the department through various social networks. They presented examples of posts, infographics, and videos, which aroused the keen interest of the committee.
Another team from the Department of Information Technologies and Systems created a business card website for a sports programming championship. The interface and rich content of the website allow users to find the information they need easily. The students spoke in detail about the development and design process, which demonstrated their technical skills.
"I was very nervous before the presentation of our project, but when it began, all my fears went away. The reaction of the committee and the audience was so positive that I felt confident. This experience was an opportunity to share my project, and also it was a great lesson for the future,” shared her impressions one of the creators of the business card website Ksenia Panova.
One of the groups of the International Institute of Environment and Tourism developed children''''s animation programs for the family segment of the Supra restaurant. The students presented a creative solution for attracting family clients by developing animation programs that will help make spending time in the restaurant fun and enjoyable for children.
“Our director, Galina Gomilevskaya, suggested this theme, and it immediately seemed interesting and relevant to us. We tried to take into account the interests of both children and their parents. The commission especially liked our analysis of the market and demand for children''''s animation in Vladivostok,” shared her impressions one of the team members Victoria.
Another interesting project of the Department of Marketing and Logistics was the game “Team Logistics”, aimed at creating and conducting a game for schoolchildren. This project focuses on teaching logistics through gameplay, which makes studying the topic more exciting and accessible to a young audience.
“The experts highly appreciated our presentation and the concept of the game. We received a lot of useful feedback and clarifying questions. Working with children is a kind of challenge, since we had to adapt the material for schoolchildren of different ages. Many children did not know what logistics was, we had to explain and simplify the rules,” Diana Stepenko said about the work done.
The research project by students of the Department of Philosophy and Legal Psychology on the topic “Psychological factors of academic performance of VVSU students” was also very interesting. The team of students conducted an extensive study aimed at identifying psychological aspects that affect learning achievments.
The teachers made valuable suggestions that will help students improve their work before the final exams.
Organization of such events indicates a high level of training of students and their readiness for professional challenges in the future. Each project is the result of hard work and creative approach of students.
