The New Year Performance "12 months" Was Staged by International Students of VVSU
The traditional New Year''''s performance "Twelve months" was held at Vladivostok State University. Foreign students organized a festive performance for Russian teachers and students.
The intercultural New Year''''s performance has been held at the university for nine years now. The tradition unites talented students from different countries. The fairy tale "12 months" was chosen for the production for a reason. It allows bringing together as many VVSU students as possible on stage.
The New Year''''s performance was a debut for many foreign students. Thus, for Emma Beng Ngong, a student of the Institute of International Business, Economics and Management, participation in the event is a family tradition. Her older sister Victoria previously performed in the performances.
"Thank you very much for the wonderful New Year''''s fairy tale! Positive emotions are important, and we understand how much work was put into organizing the event,” said Yulia Chebova, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy at VVSU. At the end of the performance, the guests and actors performed the traditional New Year song “If There Were No Winter,” exchanged contacts with each other, and agreed to continue intercultural student cooperation.
