Master Class on Intercultural Communication from VVSU

A master class titled "West-East: Secrets of Successful Intercultural Communication" took place at the All-Russian Children''s Center "Ocean." It was held as part of the "Children of the World" program, bringing together schoolchildren from different regions of Russia and foreign countries such as the People''s Republic of China, the Republic of Tajikistan, Mongolia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and the Republic of Belarus.

Faculty members and students from Vladivostok State University held classes for children. During the master class, participants discussed verbal and nonverbal means of communication, learned about the peculiarities of interactions between Eastern and Western cultures, explored typical mistakes in intercultural communication, and developed techniques for effective communication. Representatives from VVSU provided practical advice on finding common ground with people of different nationalities and avoiding misunderstandings in an international environment.

The "Children of the World" program at the All-Russian Children''s Center "Ocean" aims to promote international cooperation and strengthen friendship ties among youth from different countries. Ahead lies a series of events dedicated to intercultural interaction, creativity, and personal growth.
