Participants of VVSU University Summer Camp Learned about the World of Asia

Participants of the University Summer Camp program took part in a career guidance master class organized by the Institute of Pedagogy and Linguistics of VVSU. The session introduced the guests to the language and culture of Primorye''''s overseas neighbors – China, Japan, and Korea.

University instructors and students set up thematic stations for the children. The prospective applicants practiced writing characters, learned to read tongue twisters in foreign languages, and went on an interactive tour of Primorye''''s border regions.

Each educational segment of the master class served as an introduction to a language-related profession. This way, the guests acquired basic skills of a translator, philologist, linguist, and foreign language teacher.
