First Russian Cyber Series About Artificial Intelligence Being Shot at VVSU

Filming of the first documentary cyber series dedicated to artificial intelligence began in June in Novosibirsk. In August, the film crew arrived in Vladivostok to discuss prospects for AI development with leading scientists from the city. Experts from VVSU took part in the project:

• Karina Shahgeldyan, Director of the NEC "Artificial Intelligence"
• Alexander Sych, Head of the Engineering Center
• Alexander Ganyushkin, VVSU alumnus, electronic engineer, director of Robot LLC, developer of Adam robot

Each episode will delve into various aspects of artificial intelligence, exploring its impact on different spheres of life, its role in future professions, and how humans interact with AI. Karina Shahgeldyan addressed myths and perspectives of AI, noting that while certain elements surpass human capabilities, complete replacement of humanity is currently impossible. She proposed practical solutions for applying AI in medical diagnostics and student training.

Additionally, authors explored digital innovations created by VVSU students. One notable example is the Adam robot, capable of engaging in conversation and managing surroundings thanks to integrations with modern AI systems.
