VVSU Expands Partnership with Leading Chinese Educational Institutions
Vladivostok State University continues to build connections with foreign partners. Recently, the university hosted a business delegation from China.
At the negotiation table in the university's "Turquoise Hall," representatives of Hunchun Jinma Advanced Professional Technological School met with senior staff members of VVSU: Sergei Golikov, First Vice-Rector; Julia Kravchenko, Dean of College of Information and Creative Technologies; Ludmila Kravchenko, Director of Department of Monitoring and Development of Professional Education; Olga Severianova, Deputy Director of International Affairs and Cultural Activities.
"In addition to broadening international partnerships, we're always happy to welcome new professional ties and collaborators. Developing relationships with overseas colleagues benefits both our university and partner institutions alike," stated Sergei Golikov, opening the meeting.
Guests from China received a presentation on the university's history, infrastructure, faculty composition, and technological equipment. Delegates reviewed VVSU college curricula and visited state-of-the-art professional laboratories.
In return, the Chinese side showcased the educational offerings of Jinma school. Colleagues expressed interest in bilateral cooperation in both educational and industrial fields. Specifically, guests showed keen interest in technical specialties and educational programs related to "Tourism and Service Sector": culinary arts, logistics, hotel management, programming, mechanics, etc.
Both sides plan to implement joint educational programs, exchange expertise, and enhance professional competencies.
