Staff members of Vladivostok State University (VVSU) participated in the Russian pavilion of the international education exhibition China Education Expo. This significant event united over 80 representatives from top Russian universities in Beijing.

The annual exhibition is organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). Today, it has become one of the largest events in China targeted at prospective students. It runs from October to November in major cities such as Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shanghai.

Countries from Europe (Serbia, Portugal, Spain, Italy), Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand), and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE) showcase their institutions at the event. In total, over 400 universities from more than 38 countries take part in the exhibition.

This year, Russian higher education was represented by 35 universities from different parts of the country—from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. Attractive features of the Russian pavilion included the stand of the Russian Cultural Centre in Beijing and the exhibit of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which attracted the highest number of visitors.

More than 80 university employees were present at the Russian stands. VVSU was represented by Olga Severyanova, deputy director of the Department of International and Cultural Activities, and Irina Akisheva, senior specialist of the Office of International Educational Programs.

Partners visiting the university's stand included Jin Xianyang, director of international cooperation at Harbin Business University; Wu Hailin, director of Manchuria Polytechnic College; Li Chenxi, head of international cooperation at Heilongjiang Agriculture University Bayi; Sun Yudi, CEO of Henan's Yuji Eductech company; Liu Lishu, director of Harbin's Lilia Educational Services; and representatives of Shenyang Zhuanzhilian Educational Consultancy.

VVSU regularly attends China Education Expo each year. The primary objectives are to promote the university's brand, enhance international collaboration, increase appeal of its educational programs in China, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
