Cinematic Journey to the Celestial Empire: Students of VVSU Share Legends and Myths of China

A cultural event was held by the Department of Tourism and Hotel Restaurant Business in VVSU. The guests at the film screening were introduced to one of the most popular and captivating legends in Chinese mythology – Nezha.

Participants were treated to a story about a Daoist deity of protection originating from Buddhist mythology. They watched an iconic animated movie that captured hearts worldwide and became the highest-grossing film in China. All attendees received pleasant gifts and had the opportunity to visit a photo zone with characters from the cartoon.

"The event is aimed at intercultural exchange between China and Russia. The film tells the story of the rise of a new hero in the fantasy world of the Celestial Empire. The film itself is very bright, heartfelt, and inspiring. Additionally, I greatly enjoyed leading this event while dressed as one of the main characters," shares Marina Lomova, a student at VVSU.

The organizers of the film screening thank all viewers for their interest in the history and culture of China. They also invite everyone who wishes to delve deeper into the traditions of Asian neighbors.
